The LG's first promotion actions with OLED displays at the Canton Tower in China, consisting of two separate installations:

  • The OLED tunnel was 6.9 meters high, 3.5 meters deep, 16.6 meters long and consisted of 144 pieces. 55 "OLED displays of various types
  • OLED ceiling 6.2 m high. 3.8 m deep. 11.5 m long. and was formed from 75 pcs. 55 "OLED displays.

 

LG created this installation in 2016 at the IFA in Berlin. It aimed to demonstrate the unique properties of OLED displays. The construction was 15 m long, 5 m high and 7.4 m wide. It consisted of 216 individual 55" displays, containing 447,897,600 (approximately half a billion) pixels. It showed natural phenomena from different corners of the world: the starry sky, ocean and many other natural spectacle.

At the (ISE) Integrated Systems Europe 2019 in Amsterdam, the company unveiled its new installation. It consisted of 88 pieces 55" OLED displays and aimed to reflect the unique properties of the displays. The installation reflected forest, waterfall, fur and other natural phenomena, enhanced by the breathtaking sound of Dolby Atmos.

IFA2019 Annual Exhibition. It is simply amazing that the titanic teamwork in the heap with modern technology creates masterpieces of technological development. Another installation of 260 pieces OLED 55" displays creates the effect of magic and something unrealistic.

At the exhibition CES 2020 LG, the installation was presented, which was a ceiling in the form of waves. 200 OLED displays of 55" with the different curvature. Visitors of the exhibition were able to view various objects of nature in the form of jungle, waterfall, night sky and space, which were amplified by the breathtaking Dolby Atmos sound.

The Grand Canyon installation was created by LG at CES 2018. It helped showcase the benefits of OLED products. The installation was created from 246 displays (90 concave and 156 convex) and had a length of 28 m and reflected impressive natural wonders such as forest, glacier, waterfall, snowstorm and others, enhanced by the breathtaking Dolby Atmos sound. In total, it consisted of more than 2 billion OLED pixels.
